Viatek Group will sponsor the basketball club Vilabasquet Viladecans next season, after closing a sponsorship agreement between both organizations.
Being the commitment one of the intrinsic values that guides our corporate responsability, Viatek Group is once again linked to sports activities and contributes to giving visibility to women's sports, as it did with the sponsorship of the charitable paddle tennis tournament promoted by the Konecta Foundation. Essential actions when promoting the cultural and social progress necessary to achieve equal conditions in the sports field.
Vilabàsquet Viladecans, a club that has promoted women's sports since its inception and works for equality in all areas, was founded almost 25 years ago with 3 women's teams and with the firm objective that everyone has the same rights and opportunities in the sport.
Currently, the club has grown to have 24 federated teams, both male and female, and 3 mixed basketball school teams that successfully compete in the preferred categories corresponding to different ages. The women's senior team arrived to play the last two seasons in the semi-professional state league.
