Greencities, 9 ° Urban Intelligence and Sustainability Forum that took place last 25 and 26 in April at the Palace of Fairs and Congresses of Malaga (Fycma), in order to promote the development of the cities of the future, Smart Cities .
GRUPO VIATEK, had the opportunity to attend this meeting, being part of the shared initiative among institutions, municipalities, companies and professionals focused on the projection of sustainable and intelligent cities.
The event had all the solutions and tools linked to the building and sustainable rehabilitation, energy efficiency and smart management of cities, allowing in this way to link in a single space not only professionals in all the branches mentioned, but also to the municipal public guild, thus generating business opportunities and collaboration.
The Greencities Forum was mainly comprised of the following areas: the ICT & Sustainability and Latin American Smart Cities forums, where national and international experts addressed the smart city models in Spain, Latin America and the United States; the Green LAB, commercial presentations; the Aula Greencities Congress, where some of the Scientific Communications presented to the congress were shown; the Exhibition Area, the Networking area and the Test Drive, a space for testing electric and sustainable vehicles present in the exhibition area of the event.
In this way, Greencities has become a platform for the exchange not only of knowledge around electronic administration, intelligent tourism, renewable energies, energy efficiency, electric mobility, transport, water resources management and waste, among others, but which also continues to be a commercial platform to create projects, establish contacts, offer services, share experiences and gain inspiration on the development of Smart Cities.
